Welcome to Mrs. Coleman's 8th Grade Social Studies Home Page

Welcome to 8th Grade U.S. History! You will be able to see your grades, find out what we are studying, get caught up on current events, and visit different places that we are studying along the way through Internet links on this site. I will also include my email so you can contact me if you need to.

I will give students opportunities to actively engage in learning; by requiring students to constructively listen to other’s opinions, by exploring different sides of content issues to become critical thinkers, and by giving them multiple opportunities to learn the curriculum. I will respect my students. I will guide them through this year to the best of my ability while bringing out the best of theirs.
